Valerie Ann Woolley

On Thursday, June 10 our sweet English Rose, Valerie Ann Woolley, went to be with the Lord. She was in no pain and covered in the loving hands of her husband, children, and grandchildren. Valerie was born in Oxford, England on December 1, 1935. It was in England that Valerie met her husband, Kenneth Woolley of the past 63 years. Valerie is survived by her husband, Kenneth Woolley and two children, Michael Woolley and Karen Woolley-Duckworth. She was preceded in death by her son, Steven Woolley. She had a generous, loving heart and touched many lives with her presence. She had the ability to find beauty in all things. When strolling through her garden, you can see evidence of her gentle touch on each bloom. This gentle care extended to her grandchildren whom she loved spending her time with. Katie, Sean, Kristofer, Austin, Sam, Jenna and great-grandchild, Jude will forever be changed by her presence. Valerie was a member of the British Wives Club. She adored her time with these women and always looked forward to hosting and attending events. Her family and friends will always be grateful for each moment they were able to spend with such a leading lady. The family wishes to acknowledge with deep appreciation the many expressions of love and kindness. It is apparent that she enriched the lives of everyone she knew. Memorial Service will take place at 4:00 pm on Saturday, June 18th at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home in San Antonio, Texas.
