vanessa, we lost contact after i moved states and i wish we never had. you were an amazing friend and you pop into my head all the time. i hope wherever your soul is resting, you are thriving and happy. i remember all the little art works you would do in class and just how talented you were at singing, even though you didn’t do it too often at school. i love you and miss you. 🤍 i’ll see you again someday, and i hope to give you a big hug then and tell you everything that’s happened in my life.

Rest In Peace Nessie. An amazing friend, someone who was always there for me. The late night talks we had that I looked forward to after school. Late night FaceTimes and just goofing around. Just thinking of you makes me smile. Miss you bunches Nessie. 🕊

Happy Birthday Angel, I miss you bunches. I hope you know that I am always thinking about you. About every memory we had made together for the past 6 years. Every car jam session, every whataburger date, every ice cream day, every sleep over, or binging of shows. To hear you smile and see your life, how much I miss it. You were loved by many and still are. You helped me in ways you’ll never know. 🕊

There were times I’d be down because of school or anything else and Vanessa would be there, she’d drive to my house to give me a hug and we’d go get boba or iced coffee she always made sure I was okay and did wellness checks on all of her friends. As we did for her, there were times we’d spend hours laughing about memories and reminiscing about the times we were in highschool. We’d spend so long on the phone just listening to the ambient noise coming out of eachothers phones. Vanessa was an Angel. And I can only say I miss her so much my throat hurts from screaming and crying. I miss my friend, my bestfriend, my favorite artist, my boba buddy, my rock, she was so much to me and I wish her family the best and I love you Vanessa rest easy amiga

My buddy, my pal, my confidant, though she was younger than me she was definitely wiser than me. She held herself up high within her work and uplifting others. She was truly an angel. Anything she did she poured her heart and soul out. She ALWAYS made sure everyone was ok before she took a break or did anything for herself. That was the helper in her. Always helping. She was ALWAYS there in a time of need even when I wouldnt ask for it. There were times she would hear me struggling trying to lift a box up on a shelf or doing paper work and she would sneak up behind me with her ninja stealth feet ans scare me and every time she did that I would say dang it vanessa your ninja feet scared me and her and I would burst out laughing. Thought most of our times were laughter Her and I confinde in each other and it was like a sister bond was built. Ironically her big sister and I started as best friends when we were 19. And here we are years later. Vanessa's smile was contagious and her laugh was even more contagious. Though she will be missed she will never be forgotten. Rest easy baby girl we love and miss you. All of us.   Below is a picture I caught of her before she left the Selma location we threw a surprise birthday going away party for her in the back. As you can tell we surprised her.

Vanessa and I worked together in the library my senior year. She was the only reason I woke to school some days, she was the best person to talk to during the day, whether it be drama, happy news, or sad news. Those 45 minutes with her kept me sane, whether we were goofing off working or doodling in our notebooks. On that note, she was one of the best artists I’ve ever known. Ever so thoughtful too. I will forever miss you and treasure the time we spent together Nessa, rest easy❤️

Vanessa had many who loved her. She was a beautiful light in our eyes. Her smile and laughter carried us through even our toughest times.  She will forever be missed and will always be loved.
