She retired from Brooks AFB in 1973.
She was born in Polo, MO, and lived in San Antonio since 1929.
She and her husband summered in Chipita Park, CO, where they attended The Church in the Wildwood and she was also a member of the Riverside Baptist Church in San Antonio.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford W. Brown.
Survivors include daughters, Marilyn Herrmann and husband, Warren, Kathleen Petitt and her husband, Richard; grandchildren, Jennifer McConnell and her husband, Steve, Alan Herrmann and his wife, Vivienne, Stacie Tracy and her husband, Joe; six great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
