She was a long time resident of San Antonio and was preceded in death by her husband, Air Force Chief Master Sergeant Elfred J. Eberle.
She is survived by a sister, Mildred Williams of West Monroe, LA; and a nephew, Joe Wayne Williams of Nashville, TN.
Velma was a long time member of the American Boxer Club, San Antonio Kennel Club and Mission City Stewards Club.
