Velma Louise Willoughby, age 72, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 16, 2001. She was a former member and Sunday School teacher of First Baptist Church in Liberty, TX. She was a volunteer with the American Red Cross and for the Crisis Hotline in Houston, TX. She is survived by her son, Jack Willoughby, of St. Andrews, Scotland; daughter, Susan Willoughby, San Antonio; and grandchildren, Joy and Jan Willoughby, both of Katy, TX. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at Porter Loring Mortuary North.
