Verlin E. Frerich

Verlin E. Frerich, loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother entered into eternal rest on February 23, 2012 at the age of 83. He was born on October 29, 1928 in Red Rock, TX. He honorably served in the United States Army from 1950 to 1952 and he is a veteran of the Korean War. Verlin worked and retired from Lone Star Brewery after 36 years of service. He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Frieda Frerich; siblings, Leonard Frerich, Ernest Frerich, Lawrence Frerich, Alberta Halbardier, and Velma Seidel. Verlin is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Verena Frerich; children, Glenn Frerich (Carol), Gail Cameron (Phil), and Scott Frerich; granddaughters, Danielle, Michelle, Abigail, Allison, and Alexandra; brother, Milburn Frerich; numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 26, 2012 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 4411 Moana, San Antonio, TX 78218; and a Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening at the church. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, February 27, 2012 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
