Veronica’s smile and laughter was always contagious. She lived for adventure and fun, while sharing her love with friends and family.

I worked with Veronica at WellMed. She always had a beautiful smile on her face, and would have a kind word with me every time we spoke. God gained a special angel when He took her, but we know she is whole and cancer free dancing in Heaven with all of her loved ones. My thoughts and prayers are with all of her family, especially her precious children. ❤️❤️🙏🙏

I’m only just a friend of Gabriella’s and I met Ms. Herrera once but I knew she was a hard worker and utterly devoted to her children, work, and education; I know this because her daughter is just like her, as well as Sophia. And just like her mother, she is beautiful and hard-working and focuses on what is right to herself. I extend my deepest sympathy to Ms. Herrera, to her parents, to her sisters, and to her daughters. I can’t imagine how it would feel to lose a sister, a child, nor a mother. I remember Veronica when we were back in high school class of '99. She was such a awesome person and Always happy always smiley. I had the pleasure of getting to know you from high school. You will be missed my condolence to the family u will b missed 🙏

I've had the pleasure of working with Veronica these last 4 years I've been in this department. She was always so positive, always willing to help and gave some good advice. Although she was going through her own thing, she always asked me how my mom was doing.  She was a selfless light. I pray for peace and strength for the family and especially for her 2 daughters. I'm so thankful that we crossed paths. Veronica will truly be missed.

I worked with Veronica at WellMed. Out of a team of 100+ people, only 3 people wished me a happy birthday, and she was one of them. I say this because I had never even directly worked with her or communicated with her before (we are all remote)... and she still took the time out of her busy day to write me a sweet happy birthday message. I was going through a hard time then and the kindness of a stranger meant all the difference to me. I feel like this seemingly small act shows how big her heart was, and I wish I could have actually have known her. May she Rest In Peace.

Veronica was one of the first persons I met when I started working at WellMed. She was kind and friendly and I instantly felt at ease with her. I felt like I could talk with her about anything. Even though we grew apart as life took us in different directions, I still considered her a friend. I am going to miss her.
