Veronica Elizabeth Stewart, age 25, passed away on Saturday, September 26, 2020 in Eden, Texas. She was born in Monterey, California on July 19, 1995. Veronica was passionate in all things she did, whether she was fighting for her sisters, rescuing animals, or playing with her son. She had a penchant for the dramatic and enjoyed nothing better than an engaging story. Veronica had an immutable love of learning where she tried to learn everything from psychology, to childhood development, to data analysis. She attended University of the Incarnate Word on an ROTC scholarship before life decided on another path for her that led her to being a foster placement, then a loving and caring mother. She loved to sing and laugh with her friends and family. She made it her lifelong mission to help others no matter her own struggles.
Veronica is survived by her loving husband, Tanner Stewart and their son, John “Jack” Pierce Stewart; father, Joseph McEnroe and his wife, Monica; mother, Darlene Minea and her husband, John; sisters: Madalyn McEnroe, Sophia McEnroe-Best and her husband, Jakob, Josephine McEnroe, and Anastasia McEnroe; brother, Dominic McEnroe; mother-in-law, Sherry Schultz; and father-in-law, Brad Stewart and his wife, Bethany.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, October 8, 2020 at Porter Loring Mortuary North.
