Obituary of Veronica Cortez Trevino
IN THE CARE OF

Funeraria del Angel Trevino

With profound sadness and everlasting love, we announce the passing of Veronica Cortez Trevino, who entered into eternal rest on June 20, 2026, in San Antonio, Texas, at the age of 49.

Veronica was born on December 27, 1976, in San Angelo, Texas, to Fred and Sara Cortez. She was a woman whose beautiful smile, warm heart, and vibrant spirit could brighten any room. Full of life and deeply devoted to those she loved, Veronica treasured every moment spent with her family and friends.

For over 27 and half years, Veronica shared a loving marriage with her devoted husband, Alfredo Roberto Trevino III. Together they built a life centered on love, laughter, and unwavering support. She was a proud and caring mother to her children, Anthony Francisco Moreno Cortez and Sabrina J. Trevino, who were the greatest joys of her life.

Veronica was also a cherished grandmother to Mia, Mariah, and Alfredo Cortez, who brought endless happiness to her days. She is lovingly remembered by her mother, Sara Cortez; her siblings, Abel & Marylou De La Rosa, John & Loriann Powers, and Patrick & Victoria Cortez, and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts.

She was preceded in death by her beloved father, Alfredo "Fred" Cortez, her daughter; Marissa Rose Trevino, and her brother, Francisco “Frankie” Cortez.

Veronica had a passion for dancing, watching movies, and making those around her laugh. She was known for her radiant smile, kind heart, and family-oriented nature. Whether celebrating special occasions or simply spending time with loved ones, she embraced every moment with joy and gratitude, leaving a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her.

Though her presence will be deeply missed, Veronica’s legacy of love, strength, and compassion will continue to live on through her family and all whose lives she touched. May her memory be a source of comfort and peace, and may she rest in eternal love.
