Vicente M. Campos

Vicente Moreno Campos passed away peacefully at home on December 31, 2011, at the age of 90, after having been hospitalized for 4 days at the Nix Hospital. He served in the Army of the United States, as private first class from 1942 to 1945. He retired from Kelly Air Force Base in 1974 after working for 29 years as a painter. Mr. Campos was an Elder with, Jehovah’s Witnesses Westwood Congregation, in San Antonio, TX. He served as a Regular Pioneer for 15 years. He is survived by his wife Laura G. Campos of 64 years of marriage, daughter Mary Lalie Campos Lopez (Jose A.), grandchildren; Obed & Georgina , great grandchildren; Mateo, Jr., Kayla, Elena , brother Patricio Campos, nieces and nephews. A visitation will begin Thursday, January 5, 2012 at 5:00 p.m. at Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Road with a Prayer Service to begin at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. A 10:00 a.m. Chapel Service is to be conducted by Elder Gabriel Guajardo at the funeral home Friday, January 6, 2012, there will not be a procession, and everyone is to meet at cemetery after chapel service. Interment to follow in San Fernando Cemetery No 2. Arrangements under the direction of Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, San Antonio, TX.
