Vicente Hernandez

Vicente Hernandez aka “Cepillo” was called home to be with our Lord and Savior on June 10, 2022, at the age of 83. He was born on July 19, 1938, in San Antonio, Texas. He is preceded in death by his wife, Gloria Hernandez; parents, Jose and Ancelma Hernandez; sisters, Consuelo Vidal, Dolores Anguiano, and brother Jose Hernandez Jr. He is survived by his sons, David Hernandez and Mark Ambriz; daughter-in-law Nancy Ambriz; granddaughters Bethany, Anjelika, Crystal Ambriz, and Sierra Schermerhorn; brother, Hilario Hernandez as well as his nieces, nephews and extended family and friends, who loved him dearly. He was a strong, hard-working, and loving man. He took pride in being a Veteran, truck driver, husband, father, and

grandfather. Vicente enjoyed being outdoors, and spending quality time with friends and family. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.

A Visitation will be held on Wednesday June 22, 2022, from 5:00-9:00p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00p.m. On Thursday, June 23, 2022, a funeral procession will depart at 11:00a.m for 11:30 Mass at San Juan De Los Lagos Catholic Church followed by burial at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
