Vicente Ybarra Jr., age 76 passed away on Saturday, April 19, 2025 in San Antonio TX. He was born on February 27, 1949 in Hondo TX to parents Vicente Ybarra Sr., and Manuela Reyes Ybarra. His favorite place was under the hood of his '72 Mach 1—the same car that every one of his children came home from the hospital in when they were born. Working on cars and motors wasn’t just a hobby; it was his passion. He loved hot rods, fast cars, and the hum of a well-tuned engine.
He took great pride in his home, always keeping the yard neat and the house in good repair. Hard work and dedication weren’t just values he lived by—they were the example he set for all of us.
But above all, his greatest passion was his family. He was a devoted husband, a proud father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He worked tirelessly to provide for us, making sure we had everything we needed—and even the things we wanted. His love, support, and strength were the foundation of our family.
