Vicky Diane Tondre was born on September 1, 1949 in San Antonio, Texas. Growing up in San Antonio Vicky was the oldest of four siblings. Her best friend was her mother, Kathleen. Some of Vicky’s most enjoyable school moments were being a majorette at South San High School, playing the saxophone, accordion, and the piano. She was a homecoming queen at South San. Vicky met the love of her life, Frank, in middle school, and later married on February 26, 1968. They enjoyed a loving marriage for the next 42 years. Vicky worked for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company for the next 10 years before they decided to have a family. She gave birth to two boys Kevin and Jeffrey. Having children started the next chapter of her life, which was creating and raising a very loyal, loving family with strong moral values. Vicky was 100 % dedicated to being a loving mother/wife and taking care of her family's wants and needs. When her boys grew older Vicky attended every football, basketball and baseball game that her boys ever played. Vicky was a team mom on numerous occasions and was their number one fan. When sports were over she enjoyed spending time with her prized possessions, her wonderful family. This included numerous family gatherings, adventurous vacations, and of course watching ball games. She was fortunate to be at both of her son’s weddings and witness the growth of their families, which included the birth of her granddaughter.
Vicky left this world on August 25, 2010 and is leaving behind a loving husband, Frank, two loving sons, Kevin and Jeffrey, two loving daughters-in-law, Heather and Beth, an adorable granddaughter, Makayla, loving siblings, Tom, David and Linda, and numerous loving cousins, nieces and nephews.
