Victor Fernando Hernandez Jr. entered into the loving arms of Our Lord on December 27, 2025 at the tender age of 45. Born on October 30, 1980, to Maria Robledo and Victor Hernandez Sr., He was born in Chicago, Illinois and he carried a deep love for "the windy city" throughout his life. The third of six children, he served as a constant guiding presence for the Hernandez family.
Victor had a profound love for God and a strong devotion to his family. His passion for music was extensive, crossing generations and genres. Music was a constant companion in his life, and he enjoyed everything from oldies and classic rock to metal and rap. He loved attending concerts and always seemed to know what was new and upcoming in music, movies, and events—it was as if he had a direct line to what was happening next. Family and friends often looked to Victor to stay in the know. Sports were another passion of his. He proudly supported Chicago teams, especially the Chicago Bears, and enjoyed watching hockey and soccer. His enthusiasm and loyalty reflected his strong connection to his hometown. Known for his sharp sense of style and natural charm, Victor liked to dress well and had an easy, effortless way about him. He was warm, affectionate, and had a presence that made people feel seen and valued.
Victor shared a particularly close bond with his younger siblings. He was loving, protective, and always encouraging, making sure they knew how proud he was of them. No matter the challenge, Victor showed up for the important moments in their lives. If a milestone mattered to them, he found a way to be there—even when it seemed impossible.
At a younger age, Victor met Vanessa. They formed a strong bond and share two sons whom Victor loved deeply. They grew separately without growing apart forever, rediscovering a meaningful friendship later in life.
As time passed, Victor met his beloved wife Parris Ashley Mullen, and together they shared 14 years of love, partnership, and memories. Their bond was one of deep connection, loyalty, and devotion. Together they shared a daughter.
In 2024, Victor became a grandfather-a milestone that filled him with immense pride.
He will be remembered for his big heart, his unwavering love for his family, his pride in where he came from, and the way he always showed up for the people he loved. His legacy lives on his children, Victor Nicolas Hernandez, Julius Sebastian Hernandez, Gabriella Denise Hernandez; father, Victor Manuel Hernandez; siblings, Claudia Janet Harrison (Todd), Alexandra Eugenia Hernandez-Garza (Tony), Julian Andrew Hernandez, Carlos Giovanni Hernandez, Clarissa Martha Hernandez.
