

LCpl Victor Paul Zepeda, U.S. Marine loving husband, father, son, brother and uncle born on June 19, 1988 in San Antonio, TX went to be with the Lord on May 11, 2011 at the age of 22. A Marine since 2009, He was based in Camp Pendleton, California and served with the 1st Marine Logistics Group in Afghanistan, Combat logistics Regement-15, 1st Maintenance Battalion, Motor Transport Maintenance Company, and 1st Platoon. He had received the Sea Service Ribbon, Afghanistan Campaign Medal, and NATO Medal. Victor also loved to play basketball. He is survived by his loving wife, Phylicia Zepeda; daughter, Juliette Zepeda; son, Jordan Zepeda; Parents, Cesar and Anita Zepeda; paternal grandmother, Mrs. Inez Ramirez; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Robert and Pat Ochoa; sister, Marissa Zepeda; brothers, David Zepeda (Vanessa); Nathan Zepeda; niece, Jahliel Zepeda; sister-in-law, Melanie Ochoa; brothers-in-law, Robert Ochoa, Jr. and Julian Ochoa; also, numerous aunts, uncles, other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday, May 16, 2011 at Trevino Funeral Home, 2525 Palo Alto Rd. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. Procession will depart from the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 17, 2011 for a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian burial at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church. Interment will follow in First Memorial Park.
