As the 9th child, born in Mobile, Alabama, she is survived by her parents Joe Davis, Jr. and Mary Lee Perry Davis; siblings, Joe A. Davis and wife, Gloria; Ruby L. Davis; Patricia A. Blair and husband, Charles; Jerry D. Davis; Mary L. Davis, Barbara A. Davis, James O. Davis; nephew, Jonathan Davis and niece, Katura Gilmore; along with a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, uncles, aunts and family friends who live in various locations throughout the United States.
Victoria received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering in 1987 and was studying to complete her Master of Business Administration by December 2005 and was currently working as a Business Consultant.
Victoria was a loving and very much loved member of her family.
She was very friendly toward others and gave unselfishly of herself to all those around her.
Younger individuals looked up to her for mentoring and guidance in their lives, especially her niece, Katura and nephew, Jonathan.
Victoria was a very creative human being and had an instinct for developing ideas for others as well as herself.
Her life was tragically cut short during a period when she was soaring to new heights.
We, as a family, are saddened by the suddenness of her death and she will be dearly missed in our hearts.
The Davis family wishes to express sincere gratitude to everyone for the caring inquiries, visits, heartfelt prayers and the numerous expressions of sympathy that have been bestowed to us during this time.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in her memory to the Victoria D. Davis Memorial Fund at any San Antonio Credit Union.
