Victoria Resendez Goodykoontz

Victoria (Vicky) R. Goodykoontz, beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother and Sister, was born in San Antonio on May 09, 1929, passed away peacefully on February 27, 2015 at the age of 85. Vicky was preceded in death by her husband William Goodykoontz, son Joe Jesse Gonzales and daughter Janet Marshall. She is survived by her siblings Paul Resendez, Beatrice R. Chavez, Annabelle S. Gonzales, 6 Grandchildren and numerous Great Grandchildren, Nephews, Nieces and Cousins. She worked for Civil Service at Kelly AFB and retired. She was a very good cook, loved to go fishing, traveling, dancing, BBQ and enjoyed being with her family at cookouts and get togethers. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her. Rest in Peace Vicky, We will never forget you. Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 10, 2015, at Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. A funeral procession will depart the funeral home on Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at 12:30 p.m. for a 1:00 p.m. Mass of the Resurrection at St. John Berchmans Catholic Church with interment to follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
