He was very proud of his Italian heritage. He was a graduate of Central Catholic High School in 1946. He married Edna Gardner on June 28, 1950 and they were happily married for 66 years. After working for others, he started Vincent's Auto Parts. He remained self-employed and retired after 37 years in the auto parts industry.
He is predeceased by his parents, Tindaro and Maria Costantino; brothers, Msgr. Anthony Costantino, Richard Costantino and Mario Costantino; sister, Mary Jane Jacobs, and twin granddaughters, Martha and Mary Ellebracht.
He is survived by his loving wife, Edna L. Costantino; daughters, Marilyn Dykes (Stephen), Dianne Costantino, Patricia Costantino; and son, Stephen Costantino (Monica). He always loved seeing his grandchildren, Becky Carroll (Keane), Alison Culpepper, Emily Scruggs (Evan), Erin Ellebracht, Wesley Ellebracht, Victoria Costantino, Dillon Costantino; and his great-grandchildren, Mason and Morgan Blair, Carson and Reese Carroll, and Ethan, Eva and Ella Scruggs. He is also survived by two brothers, Ben Costantino and Robert Costantino.
For those who knew him, we will miss his sense of humor, especially his jokes about his missing four fingers that he lost at age 8. He liked to say that he was short-handed and all thumbs. His favorite activities were bowling, hunting, Las Vegas and Retama Race Park. He was so loved by his family and touched many people in his life time.
The family will receive friends from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., Thursday, August 11, 2016, at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.
