A loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the light of her life. For many years, she was involved with the Methodist Bluebird Thrift Shop. Later she owned and operated a resale shop.
Even while involved with the Methodist Bluebird Auxiliaries and her business, her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren remained the real focus of her life.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alton L. Alexander; daughter, Audrey Ann Alexander; parents, Lawrence and Helen Swartz; and two brothers, Dale and Melvin Swartz.
She is survived by her daughter, Sherry Alexander; three sons, Alton Aubrey Alexander and wife Linda, Dennis L. Alexander and wife Kim, and Carl W. Alexander and wife MarySue; grandchildren, Kathy, Robert, Allen, Jeffrey, Lyndsey, Dustin, Sean and April; great-grandchildren, Colbey, Matthew, Mason, Austin, Samantha, Ryan, Taylor, Kyle and Gavin; brothers, Bob, Dean and Paul Swartz, and numerous nieces and nephews.
