Dr. Violeta de los Angeles Del Castillo de Farina of San Antonio, Texas was born to Elvira Vega and Justino Del Castillo on February 8, 1921 in Jaguey Grande, Matanzas, Cuba and lived a full happy life with her husband of 59 years Dr. Manuel Farina.

Our Mother leaves behind her heart broken loving children; Rosario Rossy Farina-Strauss and husband Dieter Strauss of Austin, Jose Manuel Farina MD and wife Cindy Farina of San Antonio, Ana Violeta Nichols Farina and husband Michael Nichols of Austin and Gloria Farina MD of Vero Beach. Our Mother will also be remembered by her grandchildren that will miss her gentleness and love; Alex Nichols and wife Liz, Erica Nichols, Tyler Strauss, Jordan Strauss, Lauren Farina, Jonathan Farina, Griffin Fairchock and Lauder Fairchock. Our Mother is also survived by her sister Angela ElviraTati Del Castillo from Miami Beach.
