My prayers are with the family during this difficult time...

It is with great sadness that I share this message with Virgie's loving family. I had the pleasure of knowing your loved one, by working with Virgie for 17 years at SACU. She was admired and respected for the responsible position she held at SACU. Virgie was the sunshine to all she worked with and met. Virgie aka Nana, was very proud of her family, however, she never failed to show interest in her co-workers families as well. I regret I wasn't able to attend her service, but was there in spirit. My sincere sympathy to all of you.

Ginny, 
My thoughts and prayers go out to you, Chrissy, Marcos, Pancho and Rudy. I am so saddened to hear about your moms passing. Your mom was such a sweet, loving person who had a big heart! Not to forget to mention, she was always so calm and collected even when there were 8-10 kids at her house on any given weekend. And there was always room in Mrs. Elizondo's van, even if we had to pile up on one another! :) There are so many great memories that I have but I will never forget the expression on your mom's face when one morning we were all piled in the van and someone accidently put the van in reverse and we went rolling down your steep driveway and crashed into the neighbor's house. Your mom's face...PRICELESS! She will truly be missed. Heaven just gained another sweet Angel. Love to all! - Brenda

Elizondo Family, 
I share your grief and am in mourning at the passing of Mrs Elizondo. I'd known her since I was 4 or 5 years old when I attended St Martin Hall with Ginny. Mrs Elizondo was nice enough to give me breakfast and take me to school at SMH with her kids when my own single mom was unable do so. It was great to see Mrs Elizondo again when I attended middle school with Ginny and her siblings at St Paul's. She was such a kind lady and she will live on through her kids and grandkids. Peace and blessings to your family.

My friendship with Virgie started at SACU but I really got to know her when I started working in the Executive Offices. As she trained me, her quick wit and sense of humor made it more fun and less like work. In true Virgie fashion, she always reminded me not to let the Executives intimidate me because they put their pants on one leg at a time too. 
While I will always remember her knack for remembering dates at any given moment  what I will remember her the most for is the immense love she had for her family and how shed come in on Monday morning ready to tell us what she did over the weekend with her grandkids. 
She was truly an awesome lady and my thoughts and prayers are with the Elizondo family during their time of sorrow.

We had the joy of being neighbors with Rudy & Virginia back in the 60's, when we lived on Marquette. Virginia was always smiling and had a beautiful peace about her. 
Her son, Rudy and my son, David played together & went to school together. 
Virginia moved, but not sure if before or after her husband's death. 
We didn't keep in touch after that. My good memories are from the early days.

She was a wonderful sister-in-law to me and I will never forget spending time at her kitchen table sharing food, family stories, and most of all love and laughter! My fondest memory is when we rented videos when she visited Colorado and we spent a whole day in slippers and pjjs. She said shed seen the main mountains and vacations were about relaxation! I am so sad to hear of the passing of Mrs. Virginia Elizondo. I am an old friend of Marcos from our St Paul and Jefferson days. My condolences go out to you Marcos and all your siblings in this time of sorrow. My thoughts and prayers will be with you to give you all the strength you need in this sad time in your lives.

I was very saddened to hear about the passing of Mrs. Elizondo. Although, I did not know her personally I have been a dear friend of her son, Rudy, for many years, and I know the wonderful mother she was for having raised such a loving, giving, and fine man. My heart goes out to Rudy and his brothers and sisters. They are in my thoughts and prayers.

I was deeply saddened to hear about Mrs. E's passing. I will always cherish the fun times and crazy memories I had spending many weekends over there at the Elizondo household. She is and was a very wonderful, loving, beautiful, strong, and patient woman. I wish her the best on her new life with our Lord and Savior. I also send my deepest condolences to the Elizondo family - Rudy, Pancho, Ginny, Crissy, and Marcos...I love you guys. Stay strong and may each of you be blessed with the courage and strength these next few days. I know you know that she is in a much better place. Worry-free and pain-free. I was so lucky to have known Mrs. Elizondo. As a mother now I am in complete awe of how she raised 5 children on her own, not to mention the countless friends (myself included) who used to spend the night every weekend!! I will always remember her warmth, strength, laugh and undying support of her children. I send my love and prayers to the entire family.
