Virginia Christine Howard Garretson went to be with the Lord and her sweetheart Bill on February 5th 2011. She was born on February 26th 1922 in Weatherford Texas and lived in Dallas and Duncanville, Texas until 1969 when she and her family moved to San Antonio, Texas. She was active in Alamo Heights Christian Church where among many other activities she sang in the choir for 40 years. She worked for many years at University of Texas Health Science Center as a secretary. She moved to Clifton, Texas 2 years ago to be close to her daughter Debbie. Debbie and her two brothers Paul and Mark and spouses and 12 grandchildren will miss her greatly.
Service will be at Alamo Heights Christian Church, 6435 N New Braunfels, San Antonio, Texas 78209 (ph# 210-828 572) Friday, February 11, 2011 at 11:00 am followed by graveside service at Sunset Memorial Park.
