She was very active in charitable organizations, President of the Pan American League for two terms, a member of Damas de Galvez, Patronato, Sembradores de Amistad and President of the Women�s Division.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Leopold Rocamontez.
She is survived by her husband, Arthur R. Gonzalez; children, Sylvia G. Rodriguez and husband, Joe R.; Virginia Trickett and husband, Philip; Dr. Arthur Gonzalez, Jr. and wife, Deborah and Jessica Wolfe and husband, Michael; twelve grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren; and cousins, Dr. Richard Tamez and Rudy Tamez.
