Virginia R. Loftis

Born on March 6, 1937 in Charlotte, Atascosa County, Texas, Virginia was the cherished daughter of Adolph Rudolph Orsak and Ollie Odicy Orsak. She peacefully passed away on October 16, 2024 in Converse, Bexar County, Texas.

Virginia is survived by her loving children, daughter Bernadette and son Leland ; her beloved grandsons, Brandon, Brent, and Riley; adored granddaughters, Dezi and Chloe; and many great-grandchildren who brought immense joy to her life. She was predeceased by her devoted husband, James Arliss Loftis, whom she dearly missed.

A devoted Christian, she loved to talk about God and found great fellowship with her church community. She often described her volunteer chaplain work at Northeast Methodist Hospital as one of the most gratifying and fulfilling experiences of her life.

Virginia will be remembered for her unwavering faith, her selfless service to others, and the love she shared with all who knew her.

A visitation for Virginia will be held Sunday, October 27, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Sunset Funeral Home, 1701 Austin Highway, San Antonio, Texas 78218. A funeral service will occur Monday, October 28, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, 1701 Austin Highway, San Antonio, Texas 78218. A committal service will occur Monday, October 28, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM, 1701 Austin Highway, San Antonio, Texas 78218.
