

Virginia Morales Perez entered into eternal rest on August 29, 2025, at the age of 88. She was born in San Antonio, Texas, on June 15, 1937, to parents Jesus Morales and Maria De Jesus “Jesusa” Flores.
Virginia began her career with the San Antonio Independent School District as a janitor and later became a dedicated teacher’s aide, a position she held for 30 years at Carvajal Elementary School. She received an Associates Degree from San Antonio College. Her love for education and her gentle nurturing spirit made a lasting impact on the students and staff she worked with over the years. She often bought clothing for the less fortunate children throughout her 30 years at the school.
A devout member of St. Leo’s Catholic Church, Virginia served faithfully as a Guadalupana, a Eucharistic minister, and served in the Altar Society. She was known for her deep faith and devotion to her community.
In her free time, Virginia enjoyed planting and gardening, working on crossword puzzles, and solving word games. She especially loved reading Birds & Blooms magazine, always finding joy in nature and quiet reflection. She was a kind, caring, and nurturing woman who touched many lives with her warmth and compassion.
Virginia will be reunited in heaven with her husband, Luis Perez; parents, Jesusa Flores and Jesus Morales; and her beloved children, Albert Campos and Baby Girl Perez.
Her memory will forever live in her children: Harry Campos Jr. (Rosie), Diana M. Rivera, Cynthia Cantellops (Juan), David Lee Campos (Lorraine), Fidel Campos, Louise Anderson, Virginia Padilla (Tony), and Veronica P. Robles (Richard). She is also survived by 23 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great-grandchildren, and 5 beloved dogs, Chupacabra, Chocolate, Penny, Ruby and Diamond, all of whom brought her endless pride and joy.
The Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 11, 2025 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino, 226 Cupples Rd., San Antonio,TX 78237 followed by a Rosary at 7:00 p.m.
The Procession will depart from the funeral on Friday, September 12, 2025 at 9:15 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. Mass of the Resurrection at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church, 4415 S. Flores St., San Antonio,TX 78214. Interment will follow in San Fernando Cemetery II, 746 Castroville Rd., San Antonio,TX 78237
