Virginia dedicated her life to her children. She was always striving to help others. God was the driving force behind her efforts to be what others needed. Now she has finally been reunited with her beloved husband, Jimmy.
She is survived by 5 sons, John Stakes (Paula), Stephen Stakes, Bill Stakes (Yvonne), Tom Stakes (Dana), and Larry Stakes (Terri); and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mass will be held on Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at 10:00 A.M. at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 8134 Blanco Rd.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Society at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, or to River Gardens Family and Friends 12902 Majestic Cedar, Helotes, TX 78023.
