

She was born in San Antonio, TX to wonderful parents, Ralph and Constance Froebel on January 27, 1929.
Gee Gee was blessed with a joyful spirit and a gift of hospitality; she made every gathering a celebration. She was very active in numerous civic, social and church organizations.
God, her family and friends were always at the center of her life.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Edward Steves (Ado) and their son, Edward Steves III (Eddie).
Gee Gee is survived by her son Jimmie Steves and wife, Cathy; daughter, Connie Jung and husband, Mart; grandsons: Philip Jung; Kyle Jung and wife, Lauren; daughter-in-law, Claire Steves; grandson, James Bitter Steves and wife, Jessica and their daughter, Ginny, along with many wonderful friends and neighbors.
Gee Gee's children would like to thank each and every family member and friend for loving her and building so many unforgettable fun-filled memories with her.
Her caring love and motherly advice will be sorely missed, but she will continue to live in our hearts.
The family also sends special thanks to Dr. Escobar and the entire staff at The Village of Incarnate Word who lovingly cared for Gee Gee for the past seven years.
Warm thanks are also extended to Sister Maureen, Catherine Moffett and Christus VNA Hospice and Palliative Care staff.
Visitation will be held at St. Peter Prince of the Apostles Catholic Church, Wednesday, July 9th from 6:45 pm to 7:30 pm.
