Virginia S. Torres was called home to be with the Lord, on April 5, 2015 at the age of 79. She is preceded in death by her loving husband Adolfo V. Torres, parents Catalina & Enrique Sanchez, brothers Guadalupe R. Sanchez and Emilio Sanchez. Virginia is survived by her loving children: David Torres (Maria), Yolanda Torres, Julian Torres (Mary), Josie Torres, Adolfo Torres Jr. (Patricia), Henry Torres (Janie), John Torres and Joe Torres, sister Pauline Ortiz, 25 Grandchildren, 15 Great Grandchildren. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Methodist Hospital for their help. A visitation will begin on Sunday, April 12, 2015 at 5:00 pm at Trevino Funeral Home 226 Cupples Rd. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm that same evening. A funeral procession will depart the funeral home on Monday, April 13, 2015 at 8:30 a.m. for 9:00 a.m. Mass of Resurrection at St. Jude Catholic Church with Interment to follow at San Fernando Cemetery II.
