She was Past-President of The Business and Professional Women's Club of Albany, New York.
Virginia was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Wohlers in 1999.
Survivors: daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Bill Daugherty, San Antonio; Cheryl and Dave McNierney, Dumfries, VA and Patricia and Rick Striker, Midlothian, VA; grandchildren, Kim Alexander, Cynthia Evans, Stephanie Coonan, Tiffany Flowers, Cindy Rivest, Christian McNierney, Heather Walters and Cheryl Engelbrecht; ten great-grandchildren.
