

"Mimi," as she was known and beloved by her family, friends, grandchildren and great- grandchildren, was born in Zimmerman, Rapides Parish, Louisiana on February 25, 1922, to Mary Estella Jordan and Pierre Brosset.
She is survived by her daughters Barbara Kincaide of San Antonio, Carolyn Forney (Billy) of Houston, and Peggy Blair (Jim) of San Antonio, nine grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 64 years, Harold G. Wolf, her parents, her sister Mattie Johnson, and her brothers Milton Brosset and Howard Brosset.
In 1940, Ginny met the love of her life, Harry, whom she married in 1943.
She entered the Army Nurse Corps in 1943, and served as U.S. Army - Head Nurse & Supervisor-Medical Surgical Nurses. Ginny graduated from Incarnate Word College in 1958 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing.
During her distinguished career in nursing, Ginny served as Director of Nursing Services at Methodist Hospital, and after her retirement from Methodist Hospital, served as an Assistant Administrator at Metropolitan Hospital in San Antonio. She also served as President - Texas Society for Hospital Nursing Service Administrators, and Chairman - Council on Hospital Nursing.
She was active in her church, St. Andrew's United Methodist, United Methodist Women, and was a longtime member of the Harlandale Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star.
Following her retirement, Ginny, along with her husband, devoted her time and attention to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, all of whom she adored, attending countless school concerts, plays and sporting events.
Mimi will be sorely missed, but never forgotten, as a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and a passionate envoy of the human spirit.
Visitation will be Wednesday, October 22, 2014, from 5:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M. at Porter Loring Mortuary, 1101 McCullough.
Funeral service will be Thursday, October 23, 2014, at 11:00 A.M. at St. Andrew's United Methodist Church, 722 Robinhood Place.
Interment will be at Sunset Memorial Park following a reception at the church.
