Vito John Maida passed away at the age of 93 on March 26, 2013 in Forney, Texas. He was an Army Veteran in the medical field and served in India/Burma during WWII and in Korea during and after the Korean War. He is survived by a son, two daughters, six grandchildren, and thirteen great-grandchildren. Visitation will be on Tuesday, April 2, 2013 from 7-9pm at Sunset Funeral Home, 1701 Austin Hwy, San Antonio, TX 78218. A graveside service will take place at 1:45 pm on Wednesday April 3, 2013 at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery, 1520 Harry Wurzbach, San Antonio, TX 78209.
