She is survived by her three children, Jan Barber Hill and husband, Roger C. Hill, Jr. of San Antonio; John Ernest Barber and wife, Sandra of Ft. Worth, TX, and Ernest Moore Barber III and wife, Conita of Texarkana, TX; and her loving companion and friend, Gene Colbert; three doting grandchildren, Roger Chilton Hill, III of San Antonio, Landon Chloe Hill of Washington, DC; and Carlotta Louise Hill of San Antonio.
