W.L. Jack LaRue passed away on May 21, 2011. Born in Wichita, Kansas on September 21, 1929. Jack spent his entire adult life in South Texas. Initially leading survey crews, Jack joined the ranks of Central Power & Light at the age of twenty and went on to enjoy a thirty-five year executive level career before retiring at the age of fifty-five. Once retired, Jack did not stop there, he went on to start his own realty analyst and appraisal company and earned his MBA from Texas A&M at Corpus Christi. Jack is survived by his two sons James and John, and daughters Denise Mahlke and Susan Wolf.
