Walter Napier "Tex" Corrigan II, went home to be with the Lord, November 19, in San Antonio, TX. He was born in San Antonio, September 4, 1946, to Walter and Virginia Corrigan. While Tex lived many places, his home was San Antonio. He attended Alamo Heights High School, TMI, Texas Tech University, and St. Mary's Law School. To say Tex had many careers would be an understatement; however, this is what made him the incredible man he was. Tex served as an intelligence office in the Air Force, managed the Palacio del Rio, VP at Frost Bank, managed a US holding company opening "Chicken Restaurants" in NYC, and was a principal at Multivest Financial Services, but then the love of his life showed him the wondrous life of law school. From that point on it was Corrigan and Corrigan, all the way. Tex met his bride of 35 years, Carol, during one of his careers and never looked back. Together they studied, gardened, fished, cooked, traveled, lawyered and loved together. Oh, and they had two beautiful girls, who have grown to be amazing women. Tex was an amazing husband, father, brother, son, mentor, and friend. His service to the Brighton School, Victory Outreach, HS Football, AHUMC, pro-bono work and so many other places gave people the example of a disciple. An amazing husband, loving father, supportive brother, and loyal friend, Tex will be missed. Those who will greatly miss his selfless spirit and quick wit are his partner in life, law and gardening, Carol. His daughter Lisa and husband Cannon Camp, daughter Rebecca Corrigan, sister Anne and Scott Horn, nieces and husbands Ginna and Michael Crocker, and Sarah and Jeff Anderson. Those who will miss his homemade doughnuts are his great nieces and nephews Grace and Corbin Crocker, Rollins, Brooke and John Scott Anderson. Those who will miss his belly rubs, Boone and Crockett. And most excitingly for him, those who will miss his napkin tricks, coins behind the ears, and off-color jokes, his on-the-way twin Camp grandchildren. Tex was an amazing man who taught us how to give, love and serve, he will be deeply missed until we see him again.
