He was born December 24, 1933, in Salisbury, North Carolina, to the late Ralph C. and Lucille Hendrix Lippard.
Walter proudly served his country in the US Air Force and retired at the rank of Master Sergeant. He also served as a past Master Mason of the Myrtle Beach, South Carolina Lodge #353.
A positive example and inspiration for others, Walter will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him.
Walter is survived by his wife, Flaydene Lippard; children, Barbara Lippard, Wanda Colbert and her husband Donald Colbert, and Cynthia Glasser; grandchildren, Allison Colbert, Ashleigh Colbert, Jennifer Glasser and James Glasser.
