She was raised in San Antonio graduating from Brackenridge High School and Trinity University. She was an elementary school educator and taught for many years in the Comal ISD and the Northeast ISD.
She was a devoted, loving wife, mother and grandmother and cherished friend to many. Her gentle and kind nature touched everyone around her.
Wanda is survived by her husband of 54 years, Ralph Curtis, Sr.; son, Dr. Ralph "Bud" Curtis, Jr. and wife, Laura; daughter, Dixie Curtis; grandchildren, Ralph John Curtis, III and Mary Katherine Curtis and other loving family members.
The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Regent Care of San Antonio, Kingsley Place at the Medical Center and Vista Care Hospice.
