One of a kind.  From a laugh that was simply contagious to a most recognizable voice, Wanda  was a very special person.  A great friend to so many people.  The Storey Family from Canada enjoyed so many special moments with Wanda.   Whether traveling in this great big world of ours or shared visits to San Antonio or to north of the border, Wanda’s friendship will be missed. I met Wanda on one of her many travel adventures. She boarded Canada 3000 for an Around the World  trip in 1993 and I was lucky enough to be a F/A on that trip. Wanda was so much fun!  She has an infectious laugh and she spoiled our crew at every stop!  Many years after we were together at the reunions mostly hosted by Walter and Linda Hamilton. Wanda hosted a reunion in San Antonio one year and she showed us all the very best time. She will always be in my heart. She was a very special lady who’s heart was as big as Texas!

George and I had such a wonderful visit with you in April 2016.  I will never forget the Alamo, your gracious hospitality and the stories that you and George shared about your previous trips and reunions with him.  He and Rita will welcome you with open arms now.  May you rest in peace, dear Wanda. Joan

Fred Anderson Wanda was a very special cousin. Most delightful, happy going person in the world.  She is gone from our site but not from our memories. She always attended the S.S. School Reunions. She was born and raised in Sutherland Springs, tx. Loved the history. She supported the S.S. H. Museum with financial  donations. She donated a vintage table to the Historical Polley Mansion . She said her her grandmother would approve its return to Sutherland Springs. We love you.  Fred and Eileen

Always a learner and teacher, you taught me so much about life,  people, and the world we all share.  Thank you for always keeping it real and loving us like your own.  Even though she's little, Ella Rose has such a strong spirit that reminds me so much of you.  Our January girls will always share a special a bond.
