

Warren Edward Hastings, age 59, passed away on August 21, 2008. He was born on August 20, 1949 in San Antonio, TX to the late Warren V. and the late Nelda Wiemers Hastings. He was a descendant of the Muennink and Wiemers families.
Warren graduated from Alamo Heights High School and Southwest Texas State University, and the Graduate School of Banking in Wisconsin.
He worked for the Federal Resolution Trust Corporation RTC and was a Federal Bank Examiner; was V.P. of Lending at Alamo National Bank; V.P. of Loans for the Broadway National Bank; and as a Teacher Aide in the Life Skills Class at both the Jr. and Sr. High Schools in Alamo Heights.
Warren was a Master Mason and a member of Perfect Union #10, A.F. & A.M. and also a 32nd Degree Scottish Rite.
Warren was a very active volunteer for many years with the March of Dimes and Special Olympics.
He was also a long-time volunteer of NIOSA and the San Antonio Rodeo. Warren dearly loved his family, especially his daughters and grand-daughter.
His favorite pastimes were spent traveling and hunting at the family ranch in Yancey, TX.
Warren is survived by his sister, Sandra Rogers Buzz. Lt. Col USAF Retired; daughter Casey Quiroz John Ray and expecting 2nd grandchild; daughter, Teri Ford Jeffrey; granddaughter, Caitlin Brooke; and former wife of 29 years, Mary Hastings; Nieces, Missy King David of Colorado Springs, CO; Kricket Rogers Tina of Copenhagen, Denmark; Lyndsey Powell Jason of Marietta, GA; grandnieces & nephew Graceyn and Josey Powell of Marietta, GA; Kathrine and Elliot Rogers of Copenhagen, Denmark and Samantha and Mackenzie King of Colorado Springs, CO. Aunts, Arlene Richardson Chick of College Station, TX; Shirley Delk Mark of Yancey TX and many, many cousins.
