Wayne Edward Travis, 89, of San Antonio, TX passed away on Thursday, September 18, at Northeast Baptist Hospital. He was born on February 16, 1925 in Kansas City, Kansas to Glen and Espy Travis. Wayne graduated from Grandview High School in Grandview, MO in 1943 and after graduation, served in the United States Army. After completing his service he joined the Grandview Police Department. He married LaDonna Williams on August 5, 1944. After moving to San Antonio, Texas, he worked as an independent insurance adjuster. Wayne was a member of Mount Calvary Lutheran Church.
He was predeceased by his beloved daughter, Diane, his parents, and his sister, Melba. Wayne is survived by his devoted family, including his wife, LaDonna; his children, Carla and Geary; and his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
