

He was born July 31, 1947, in San Antonio to Forrest and Grace Vick. He graduated as valedictorian of his class at Keystone School in San Antonio. Wayne received two Bachelor of Science degrees from Texas Tech and did post graduate work at Cal Tech.
He founded "Connections Living History, Historical Reenactments" which included Republic of Texas Battles, the Civil War and the Indian Wars. He was a member of several organizations, including San Antonio Living History Association, ACOG, Knights of the Round Table, San Antonio Conservation Society, Bexar County Sheriff's Posse and King William Association.
Wayne enjoyed the symphony. He owned Vick's Plumbing Company which was started by his grandfather in the early 1900's. He took great pride in being a 5th generation Texan. He loved animals, especially his horses and dogs.
Wayne was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his brother, Gary Vick and wife Sharon, and dozens of cousins.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, September 22, 2011, at 1:00 p.m. at "The Red Roof Church", St. Paul Lutheran Church, 29797 US Highway N.281 , Bulverde, TX 78163

choice in memory of Wayne Vick.
