I met Wil in 2019 at the hospital camp. He conspired with me on a Christmas surprise for my wife; I was giving her the gifts she had requested in a note to Santa when she was about 10 years old that was found in an old family book. We made up a sign that said he just found the letter to Santa!  Will was a wonderful person. I watched him and Gloria with the kids and adults and was astounded to see two people so giving and cheerful. The world will be a sadder place without you Wil but your memories will carry us onward in our efforts to bring joy to those in need.  Thank you. Mike barker

I had the good privilege of working with Will for over 25 years, and the greater privilege of having him as a friend.  His company provided my company incredible service over that entire time, and I think it would blow both of our minds away if we thought about all of the projects we have worked on together, and all of the landmark buildings on which he was a part of the team, including the home of his beloved Spurs.  He will be missed but never forgotten.  A genuine spirit and soul.  It was his heart that made him Santa, not his beard. I always loved that when I would see Wil he always had the biggest smile and hug for you. I am so glad that we met Wil and Gloria though hockey. I always enjoyed listening to all stories of grandkids, Louisiana, volunteering and travels around the country and world for Disney. He was the best Santa and loved having Gloria by his side, for his Mrs. Claus and everything. His crawfish boils were the best and he loved having them and everyone over every year. Mr. Wil was a great person and a greater friend.  He will be missed more than anyone can imagine. He gave more of himself than he ever received and we were blessed to have known him. I know so soon after Our friend Will has left us that it would selfish for us to be missing him standing at our front gate, as he often did. He wasn’t there because he needed something. He’d just be there to make sure we were doing okay. He loved to stay connected to all his friends and neighbors. Maybe it had been several weeks since we had visited so he took it on himself to make sure we spent a few minutes to catch up. Donna and I will miss our visits with him,  no matter who’s home we were at. Listening to the testimonials tonight shed new light about the man we all took for granted as just a true friend because he also touched so many and inspired so many to be unselfish. Will brought so much joy to so many with special needs, and for that he will always be remembered.  You are in our thoughts and in our prayers.

I knew Wil thru his business and occasional social outings.  Wil was fun, loving and almost always had a smile on his face.  I am glad and fortunate to have spent some time with Wil.  I am confident Wil is still smiling.

Wil was a kind, humble soul, I was fortunate to have been invited to one of his “Famous Craw Boils”. He and Gloria made my wife and I feel so welcomed. His smile  lite up a room. He made sure to make you feel so at ease around him. He truly will be missed but his legacy and memories will live on forever.

Wil's memory lives on with all of us who knew him.  We love you Gloria, and are here whenever you need us.

The world lost a kind, generous, and philanthropic soul who had an unmatched energy for helping children battling cancer and a passion for life. His smile and personality lit up every room he entered. A true beacon for good.  I will miss this man.

At the temple there is a poem called "Loss" carved into the stone. It has three words, but the poet has scratched them out. You cannot read loss, only feel it. With the loss of Wil, we gain a new fondness of the joy he brought into our lives. I will always remember his sense of humor, love for his family, and firm hand shake. He was a good husband, father, and friend. We are always saying "Farewell" in this world...always standing at the edge of loss attempting to retrieve some memory from the silence.... some meaning of it all....someone which is precious and now gone. In this Big Ole World... God brought together our Families. We have often spoken of ...  What are the chances ??? what are the chances of Wil and Gloria Drash eating at River City Seafood wearing LSU gear and Justin and Kim Naquin walk in there with Our LSU gear, well,,, this is where it really get good.  We are all from Louisiana.  Wil and I are from Morgan City and Gloria and Justin are from Thibodaux.  Later in life Gloria and I  lived just a few houses apart.... But there was the ONE  Chance encounter,,,, that made us Family.  We became Brothers from another Mother and sisters from another Mister.  Our Bond will always remain strong with LOVE , RESPECT and GREAT MEMORIES !!!

No matter how stubborn Wil was, he had a huge heart and will be greatly missed.  Knowing and working with him was worth every disagreement
