Wilfred C. Garcia, age 73, of San Antonio, beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, died Friday, January 18, 2002. He served in the U. S. Marines during World War II and retired from the U.S. Postal Service. An amateur boxer and professional boxer, he was also a judge for the U.S.A. Boxing Association and a member of the American Association for Rural Lifestyles. Preceded in death by his parents, Rogerio E. Garcia and Maria Zamora Garcia, he is survived by his wife, Beatrice Garcia; sons, Wilfred Garcia and wife, Susan , David Garcia and wife, Patsy, Edward Garcia and wife, Clemen; daughters, Beatrice M. Flores, Sylvia Heitczman and husband, Jim, Norma Hayes, Lynda White, Martee Mullinax and husband, Charles; grandchildren, Brenda and Richard Flores, Katherine and Lauren Garcia, Elaine and Eddie Garcia, David, Patrick and Chrissy Garcia, Manuel de la Rosa, Jeffery Huerta, Erika and David Medina, Rebecka Hayes, Nathan, Lewis, Maria Mullinax; great grandchildren, Nicholas de la Rosa, David and Matthew Medina, Andrew and Anthony Medina.
