

She accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Ridge Hill Baptist Church, Ridge Spring, South Carolina.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Elbert Harvey of Aiken, SC on July 21, 2001 at North Shore Hospital in Manhasset, NY; her parents, Jasper Walter and Elnora Beatrice Greene of New York; and her three brothers, Earl Bradford and Jasper Williams of New York and Sinclair Walter of New Jersey.
During her career, Wilhelmenia was employed by Mays Department Store as a cashier and will-call bookkeeper for four years; Celanese Corporation as Coordinator of University Relations for 11 years which offered her the opportunity to be a Celanese Representative in Joint Ventures at NAACP; as well as the Urban League STEP Program at Hampton Institute of Hampton, VA and Celanese Corporate Headquarters in house programs. She completed her career after 33 years as an Administrative Assistant and Notary Public in the Tax Department of Miller, Ellin and Company, CPA's.
She enjoyed traveling, music and casino trips.
She leaves to mourn her passing her son, Kenneth Harvey of San Antonio, TX; three sisters, Juanita hart, Columbia, SC; Minnie Blackman, Rahway, NJ and Dorothy Gantt, Hollis, NY; two sisters-in-law, Arzara Cadle and Elvera Freeman, NY; brother-in-law, John L. Harvey, NY and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A special mention of her caring co-worker and faithful friend, Sophie Wakeham of Teaneck, NJ.
Visitation will begin at 5:00 PM on Saturday, June 24th in the chapel of Porter Loring on McCullough followed by a Funeral Service at 6:00 PM. Interment will be private for the family.
