William E. Barfield, Jr. (Bill) went to be with his Lord Jesus on December 22, 2017. He was born August 4, 1962 in San Antonio, Texas. He is survived by his parents, William E. Barfield, Sr. (Dick), his mother, Linda Fay New Barfield, and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Bill graduated from Madison High School in 1981. He worked in a lumber yard, in construction, and fast food restaurants. He later attended Medical Assistance School and worked in that field for several years. His last job was delivering for Pizza Hut. Bill loved movies, music, singing, and playing the guitar. He loved animals and rescued them. His dogs were his "darlings". A song he wrote contained the following lines:
And when I go away, I know my heart can stay, with my love. My love does it good.
And when the covers bear, I'll still find something there, with my love. It's understood.
Don't ever ask me why I never say goodbye. To my love it's understood.
It's everywhere with my love.
