William "Billy" Edward Bond III

October 31st, 1955 - October 09th, 2015

Another angel was granted his wings. Billy was welcomed into heaven by his loving parents, William Edward Bond JR and Elsa G Bond.

Billy Bond passed away peacefully at home with his one true love by his side.

He was a loving and loyal husband to Ruth, A hero to his children, April (Chris), Elise (George), Thomas and Michael. He was a favourite Grandpa to his grandchildren Joseph, Jayda, Christian, Christopher and Lily and honorary grandchild Jake. Loving brother to Tommy and wife Izzy. He will be missed by his extended family and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was a very gentle and kind man, proven by his multitude of good friends. He had a love for reading, American history, coast fishing and a passion for music. He followed his passion for many years with numerous bands, playing his drums. He was a 1974 graduate from Robert E. Lee High School. After college he was a mortician for many years. His retired from NEISD maintenance. After retirement, he enjoyed his last days in Canyon Lake.

A memorial service will be 12 noon, Friday, October 30, 2015 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Alamo Hospice.
