He was preceded in death by his wife, Bernice E. Bonner who he adored beyond measure.
He is survived by daughters, Jan Bonner, Angie Rushing, and Rhonda Payne who he loved as his own, sisters-in-law, Beatrice Miller and Joan Merchant (Ralph), grandchildren, Richard Rushing and Anna Lee Wagoner; extended family members, Angelique Juarez, Darnell Wagoner, Kathy Green and Marshall Bocell.
William retired from the U.S.A.F. and later from civil service at Kelly A.F.B.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, November 8th from 5-7 pm at Sunset Funeral Home. The funeral service will be on Monday, November 9th at 9:00 am at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
