William J. (Bill) Brands, 83, passed peacefully to the Lord February 20, 2017. He is survived by his son, Daniel; granddaughter, Victoria; brother, John and Phyllis Brands of Buffalo NY; very dear friend, Carol Sedam, her daughter Tammie and her children Tabitha and Zane.
He had served and retired from the U.S. Air Force, including 2 tours in Vietnam, and received the Bronze Star. He also served 20+ years working for the D.O.D.\\Civil Service until finally retiring.
He was a loving husband, father and grandfather, avid golfer and Texas sports fan.
Bill was well loved and will truly be missed.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Monday, March 6, 2017, at Porter Loring Mortuary North.
