A resident of San Antonio since 1958, he graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in 1965 and Southwest Texas State University in San Marcos.
He worked in the automotive industry for many years. Mr. Cummings lived in Hollywood Park since 1992. He will be especially missed by his dear friend, Ron Clark, and all those who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Col. William J. Cummings, Jr. and Donna Cummings.
He is survived by his adored wife of 18 years, Tonya; sons, Stephen Cummings and Jay Tschoepe and family; sister-in-law, Tamara Eisenlohr and husband Larry; and Tonya's cousin, Kendall and her husband Sherman Macdaniel.
