

Bill was born in Laredo, Texas on July 4, 1938 to Lillian Louise Reuthenger and Jesse Dorrington, His father passed away when he was 6 month old. He was raised by his loving mother.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his 2 sisters Alice Waidman and Lou Hauptfuerher and 1 brother Jesse (Tubby) Dorrington.
He is survived by Grace his wife of 46 years. His sister in law Margaret Brown her husband Bill Brown and their son, a very special nephew William Brown. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Bill work for Texas Department of Transportation for 36 years (his one and only job), where he received many awards for his service. He was a perfectionist who always took pride in the jobs he worked. His motto was " if it’s worth doing it's worth doing right".
He was an avid out doors man. He had a passion for hunting white tail deer. He shared many years with great friends at the hunting lease. One special life long friend Ray Pocher, were still great friends. He had many trophy deer that adorned the wall of his den. He could tell you the story behind each one.
A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday June 29th at 11:00 am at OAK MEADOW UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, 2740 Hunters Green Drive, San Antonio, Texas 78231. Pastor David Edgar will officiate.

He will always be remembered for his wit and kindness. He will be missed.
