William N. Forshay

William Nelson Forshay passed away at the age of 87 in San Antonio, Texas. He was born in Teaneck, New Jersey on March 20th 1935. He is preceded in death by his son Todd Forshay. He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years Rose Forshay, his daughter Terri Huntley, and two grandchildren, Bryan and Jessica Forshay, and four great grandchildren, Joseph, Dezlyn, Khloe and Emoree Forshay. William was a loving husband, father, grandfather and son.

He proudly served in the United States Air Force for twenty years, being stationed at Antigo WI, Alaska, Hampton, VA, (Langley AFB), Wakkanai, Japan and finally retired in San Antonio. He loved the outdoors, camping, fishing and growing a garden. He loved the Spurs and the Green Bay Packers. He will be greatly missed.

Visitation will be at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home, 6321 Bandera road, San Antonio, Texas 78238 on Sunday, September 18, 2022 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. A graveside service will be conducted on Monday, September 19, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, 1520 Harry Wurzbach Road, San Antonio, Texas 78209 with Air Force Military honors.
